Suspension and steering
Suspension, steering, and alignment repair for commercial trucks — dispatched to your fleet yard or breakdown location.
How it works
Ride quality affects everything — from tires to cargo.
Bad suspension and worn steering components cause uneven tire wear, poor handling, driver fatigue, and cargo damage. Our mobile mechanics diagnose and repair suspension and steering issues on-site, from air bag replacement to king pin service.
Air suspension service
Air bag replacement, leveling valve adjustment, air line repair, and height control diagnostics for smooth ride and proper trailer coupling height.
Leaf spring repair
Broken leaf replacement, spring hanger repair, U-bolt replacement, and spring pack rebuild for traditional suspension systems.
Steering gear service
Steering gear adjustment, power steering pump and hose replacement, and steering shaft service to eliminate play and improve control.
King pin and ball joint
King pin bushing replacement, ball joint service, tie rod end replacement, and drag link repair for tight, predictable steering.
Shock and damper replacement
Cab air ride, axle shock absorbers, and suspension damper replacement to reduce driver fatigue and improve ride quality.
Frame and alignment check
Visual frame inspection, axle alignment check, and thrust angle assessment to identify suspension geometry issues causing tire wear.
Questions
No estimates. The mechanic diagnoses, quotes, and you approve before any work.
Yes. Air bags can usually be replaced at your location. Tell dispatch the axle and the truck so the mechanic brings the right part.
Signs of worn king pins include steering wander, uneven tire wear on the steer axle, clunking over bumps, and visible play when the front axle is jacked up. Our mechanics can measure king pin wear and advise if replacement is needed.
Yes. We service all axle positions including steer, drive, and trailer suspension systems — both air ride and spring suspension configurations.
In most cases, yes. A leaning trailer is usually caused by a failed air bag, broken spring, or leveling valve issue — all of which can be diagnosed and repaired in the field.
