    The truck, the problem, the distance and the driver's photos. Accept or Pass right from the notification.

  2. Navigate

    The customer sees you coming, with your photo, truck and plate. Running late? One tap tells them.

  3. Arrive and check the site

    A quick safety check first. If the spot isn't safe, you can leave and say why.

  4. Diagnose, then quote

    Checklist, photos and notes. Build the quote and preview exactly what the customer sees.

  5. The customer approves

    In their app or on their status page. You start work only after they say yes.

  6. Finish and get paid

    Pick the outcome, add the after-work photo and parts receipts. Payment runs through the app.

Your own tools and a service truck equipped for roadside diesel work
Commercial auto and liability insurance (you upload it in the app)
Hands-on diesel experience on Class 6 to 8 trucks
An iPhone with a data plan (Mobile Diesel Pro is an iPhone app)
A bank account for payouts (set up securely through Stripe)

Questions

Customers pay by card in the Mobile Diesel USA app or on their status page after they approve your quote. Your earnings are paid out to your bank through Stripe, and every job and payout shows in Mobile Diesel Pro.

A share of the call-out fee and a platform fee on labor. Both are written in your mechanic agreement and shown before you accept work. Mileage is never shared: it is 100% yours.

You do. You set your labor rate (at least $50 an hour), your call-out fee (up to $500) and your mileage rate. Parts and labor for each job go on the quote you build after diagnosis, and the customer approves it before you start.
